Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre was founded back in 1958, with the aim of showcasing African-American dancers in New York. They're landing in London this September, with three separate programmes of brilliant dance.
Programme B features Ronald K Brown's 'Open Door', soundtracked by the music of Arturo O'Farrill & The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, as well as stylish tango piece 'Piazzolla Caldera' by Paul Taylor, and Ailey's own 'Revelations'.
