Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company: Within

A UK premiere, staged as part of the Southbank Centre's Alchemy festival, which showcases artist from the UK and South Asia. 'Within' is two pieces by choreographer Aditi Mangaldas based on Kathak - one of the eight forms of classical Indian dance. Inspired by writer Salman Rushdie, Mangaldas here looks at the broad spectrum of deep human emotions, from love to hate and harshness to tenderness.
