Please note: these shows have been rescheduled from October 2 and 3, due to Noah's filming commitments for 'The Daily Show'.
Slick, smooth, smart and sublimely funny South African stand-up Trevor Noah hits the Hammersmith Apollo with his new tour, 'Lost in Translation'. The 30-year-old comic is a household name in his homecountry, and is quickly becoming one in the UK too.
A few years ago, with a little help from Eddie Izzard, Noah had a phenomenally successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe. That show, 'The Racist', then had multiple sell-out runs at the Soho Theatre before playing to full houses at the Shepherd's Bush Empire and the Apollo itself.
His material generally focuses on his unique upbringing – growing up in apartheid South Africa, the son of a black African mum and a white Swiss dad – and he has plenty to say about race and multiculturalism. This is warm, insightful, classy comedy.
