Tom Ballard – Taxis and Rainbows and Hatred

Angsty Australian Tom Ballard took such a bizarre taxi ride one time that it inspired this whole show. He's an easygoing comic, sneaking a strong message about attitudes towards gay people into his light-hearted tales. There are big laughs here, too, with lots of smart, playful jokes. The Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Awards panel were certainly impressed, giving Ballard a nomination for Best Newcomer.
