As anyone who’s seen him on the London scene in recent years will agree. 2015/16 has seen his star really begin to rise: the immaculately-groomed posh-voiced lad from Bromley has supported Sarah Millican on her sold out UK tour and appeared on ‘Live at the Apollo’ and ‘8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown’. Acclaimed new show ‘Indeed’ – a sell out at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe – is Allen’s attempt to wrestle with the eccentricities of modern life, showcasing his assured storytelling and felicitous way with the english language.
