In-ya-face Aussie stand-up Brendon Burns performs a solo show and plugs his own website in one swoop. He's been on the circuit for more than two decades. In that time, he's gained a large, loyal fanbase, bagged the Edinburgh Comedy Award and performed to thousands of comedy club crowds. But, he's sick of it. He's dismayed with the UK's live comedy circuit, so has been performing the 'Outside the Box' tour, playing to his most hardcore fans in strange venues, like cinemas, tea shops, libraries and a burrito bar – anything but comedy clubs. But he's back in a proper comedy venue tonight, playing a one-off date at the Udderbelly.
