Roundhouse Comedy Festival

Edinburgh isn’t the only place for comedy in August. The Roundhouse has put together a cracking lineup of comics for this month-long chortle fest, the venue’s first-ever programmed dedicated soley to comedy. Rose Matafeo will be kicking things off at the opening gala on August 5, with more lols provided by Lolly Adefope and Catherine Cohen, among others. Throughout the month, you can expect gigs from Sophie Duker, Jordan Brookes, James Acaster and Kane Brown. Plus, galas featuring the likes of Dylan Moran, Nish Kumar, Reggie Watts, Bridget Christie and Simon Amstell. Other treats include ‘Are You JoKing’, a side-splitting night of drag king comedy excellence and live podcasts like The Hoovering Podcast and Nobody Panic.
