Understated stand-up Mark Watson retired from doing these ridiculously long marathon shows a few years ago, after completing multiple 24-hour gigs and even a 36-hour extravaganza. But when Comic Relief asks you to stage another, you don't say no. So Watson returned in 2003 with a 25-hour interactive gig, and now he's staging a 27-hour Comedy Marathon, where the comic will perform for the full day-and-a-bit while other people in the Pleasance and across the country attempt their own 27-hour challenges. Watson's endurance shows are always loads of fun, and normally involve a heap of brilliant comics helping in any way they can. Take Friday off work, bring coffee and prepare for a brilliant bizarre 27-hours.
Just announced! Joining Watson on stage, or taking part in their own 27-hour challenges, are Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe, Rufus Hound, Sarah Millican and Susan Calman.
