Very silly comics Stuart Laws and Matt Winning give the popular US format of the comedy 'roast' (where stand-ups affectionately rip the piss out of their peers) a very British twist.
Laws and Winning's 'roast' is less about insults, more about grazy, as comics perform short sets and then have to eat a bit of cold, microwaved roast dinner (vegan this time) as the two host 'roasters' getting increasingly pissed.
Laws and Winning's last 'roast' was a lot of fun – messy, underprepared and unpredictable, just how proper comedy should be. The line-up's great, too: Richard Gadd, Eleanor Morton, Jordan Brookes, Annie McGrath, Louise Reay Beamont, Matthew Highton and Andy Barr.
