Kieran Hodgson: Lance

Kieran Hodgson's coming-of-age character comedy show deservedly received a Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe. It's a beautifully written hour, with Hodgson focusing on his teenage hero Lance Armstrong who helps the Yorkshire lad through the tough times of mountain bike races and going to university. But, of course, each Armstrong section is conducted with a smart, knowing hindsight. It's a heart-warming, superbly performed and very funny one-man show.
