Hans Teeuwen: Real Rancour

The incomparable Hans Teeuwen is stand-up comedy’s very own Dutch Master; a huge favourite with comedy heads since his first English language shows in London in 2008. Why? Because his act is a total one-off: a sui generis grab-bag of absurdist shtick, clowning, confrontational jokes and free expression. One minute he’s sneaking up on taboo issues like FGM, the next he’s serenading a sock puppet while stuffing its mouth with a Mars Bar. Teeuwen returns to these shores in November  with a new show and a renewed appetite to test the limits of comedy and free speech.
