South East Londoner Dane Baptiste impressed the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Awards judges at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe – they put him on the list of Best Newcomer nominees. 'Citizen Dane' is a slick, assured debut about fitting in. He's an easygoing performer – confident without being cocky – and he has some smart material. Baptiste has 'panel show regular' written all over him.
