Sleek, luxurious, sophisticated… the adjectives roll off the tongue like a fine Martini and sure don't suggest that this is the place for happy hour prices. Cocoon isn't shut off from the world though, the fact that it overlooks Regent Street is one of its most appealing qualities. The interior, by Miami-based designer Stephane Dupoux, is curvaceous, warm, muted and glowing, just like many of the clientele. The restaurant's pan-Asian cuisine is replaced by a global fusion of groovy tunes from guest DJs, but this isn't a do-drop-in kind of bar, you'll need to reserve a space by calling 020 7494  7600 or emailing latelounge@cocoon-restaurants.com.
