At Last! The 1981 Show

As part of Stewart Lee's Austerity Binge, the erudite comic, alongside 'The Young Ones' producer Paul Jackson curate this evening of comedy from the year before alternative comedy broke. The bill includes acts from that 1981 comedic Indian summer – some known, some unknown, all hugely significant. Featuring The Oblivion Boys, The Greatest Show on Legs, Alexei Sayle, Kevin MacAleer, Chris Lynam, Arthur Smith, Normal Lovett, Andrew Bailey, Arnold Brown and the Frank Chickens.
