Beaufort House

King’s Road

The grand Beaufort House comprises a public bar at the front, of slightly continental appearance, and a back room where members may withdraw after midnight. A large horseshoe bar counter is lined with stylish, turquoise-topped bar stools and surrounded by wooden, window-view tables; each is centrepieced by large menus detailing drinks, wines and food. A sumptuous wedding reception setting.

After a three-month refurbishment, the Garden Museum (formerly the Museum of Garden History) re-opened in November 2008 with purpose-built exhibition and education spaces designed by Dow Jones Architects. Host a reception dinner in the main hall - after professional pictures in the lush 17th century gardens, naturally.

Located roughly around half way between The O2 and the Thames Barrier, Greenwich Yacht Club stands above the river on stilts. The largely glass building is large enough to cater for all kinds of weddings, meetings and dinners and even has its own moorings, what with it being a yacht club and all.
