The Snake Pit concept slithers out of its Shangri-La Glastonbury home (for the uninitiated, Shangri-La is Glasto's notorious den of after-hours hedonism, electronic soundtracks and general weirdness) and into Hackney for a one-off night of immersive theatre, tough beats and bleeps, burlesque and twisted cabaret. Wrap your ears round some "space ape gangster soul" from Future Shape of Sound, bouncy sounds from DJ Skum, heavy bass from Indiana Tones and, weirdly, beatboxing. To give you an idea of the vibe, there's a 'no tattoo, no entry' policy, but needle-phobics needn't worry, as a temporary tat can be gotten at the doors.
