Ok, so chances are you probably missed out on the golden age of block parties back in '70s Manhattan, but fear not because you can recreate some of the magic at this new weekly night at The Book Club, which aims for a block party-feel and some classic grooving. You can get down at Get Down to heavy funk, rare groove, dusted disco, classic house, vintage hip hop, R&B jams and golden age garage, spun by special guests and residents.
