The Doctor's Orders: The History of Hip Hop

The Southbank Centre goes hip hop for one day in August, with a little help from London rap party professionals The Doctor’s Orders. Head down to the Southbank Centre for a record fair from midday, with US labels Stones Throw and Mass Appeal setting up shop alongside other cool hip hop, soul and funk imprints. Then it’s time for a free party on the Southbank terrace, with DJs Spin Doctor, Mo Fingaz and more spinning discs that span the whole history of hip hop, from ’70s breaks through to contemporary bangers.
