Concept nights can be a dangerous thing in the wrong hands, but in the hands of the ReviveHER crew, they usually turn out pretty bloody amazing. Following on from their 2011 'Jack 2 Jack' night (only featuring artists with Jack in their name), comes MCDE.
The concept this time? It's headlined by Motor City Drum Ensemble (whose initials are MCDE), and the rest of the artists make up the remainder of the MCDE acronym. So Motor City... takes the M, Eddie C takes the C, Move D is D and Mark E is, yep, E. Clever, innit, especially when each of the producers in question shares an affinity for deep and warm dancefloor explorations, traversing soulful house, Detroit techno, spacey disco and many more lush prospects.
ReviveHER are also transforming corsica Studios for this special event, making use of the adjacent space to create three Function One-fitted rooms and adding an extra bar. Put simply, this should be a great one, so grab tickets quick if you want to be part of it.
