Random Magic, a ragtag bunch of mischievous promoters from London's electronic scene, have put together this Halloween hellraiser, billed as a "label mini festival" and bubbling over with creepy pagan overtones. A selection of house, disco and funk labels have pitched in and will be unleashing some of their prime artists. Omar S reps Detroit's FXHE, Bristol's Futureboogie offers up Maxxi Soundsystem, Hackman and Lukas, while Horse Meat Disco, Luke Solomon, Honey Dijon and Dan Beaumont make up a Classic Music Company versus HMD showcase, and Glasgow DJ duo JD Twitch and JG Wilkes bowl in to give a taste of their Optimo nights. That, we think you'll agree, is a stonking collection, no? Definitely more magic than random.
