Long before deep house became a Thing and every DJ and their mum began churning out deep tracks, London club night Need2Soul were celebrating the purer strain of this musical artform and its roots in the Chicago and Detroit electronic scenes. They've been in the game for ten years now, and to celebrate they've brought an A-list of expert selectors, headed by seminal Chicago producer and purveyor of ocean-deep beats Ron Trent.
Other US house heavyweights, including Marcellus Pittman, keep things tight behind the decks, as well as Berlin's minimal master Jerome Sydenham and newer talent plucked from the UK's own shores, including Phil Asher.
