Time Out says

As the name suggests, Memory Box delves deep into the history of defining musical genres or areas over the years and has provided London with some top-notch underground parties over the past 12 months. Tonight MB celebrates its first anniversary, by welcoming back the man who played at the first party a year ago: Tom Middleton. Back then, he paid tribute to the scene-shaping Roland TR-808 drum machine with an eclectic set that journeyed through hip hop, techno, jungle and electro. This time around, he's taking on the 808's younger sibling, the TR-909: another highly important drum machine championed by the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Daft Punk, The Prodigy and numerous others. Expect tracks by all of those artists, plenty of seminal Detroit techno, acid house, breakbeat, Chicago house, old-school electro and much more, all of it eminently danceable.
