Louche and RBMA present Theo Parrish + Floating Points All Night Long

House promotion pros Louche and the Red Bull Music Academy team up at Brixton's Plan B once again, for more forward-thinking beats from two undisputed aces – Theo Parrish and Floating Points. Few have been quite as progressive and stylishly loose with the Detroit sound as Parrish, whose free-flowing productions blend classic house sounds from the Motor City and Chicago with a touch of techno and plenty of interstellar soul and glitchy jazz. Parrish is, quite simply, a master. London-based producer Floating Points is similarly vast in his scope, weaving together electronica, house, soul, funk and oodles of warm, dancefloor grooves, which are perhaps best summed up by diving into the eclectic, spacey sounds of Eglo Records – the label he co-runs with Rinse FM regular Alexander Nut. Both producers will be playing three-hour sets in Room One – and possibly going back-to-back, say the promoters – while over in Room Two you can catch the Louche crew hosting Brinsley, Josh T and Tom Frank.
