Time Out says

Ok, (Valentine's) cards on the table here - this night doesn't have a whole lot to do with love or romance or any of that soppy stuff. The tenuous Valentine's link from the promoters is that it represents a return to the forgotten days of "long, intimate nights" spent grooving in nightclubs. Also, Labour of Love apparently offers "a space for friends and family to come together both physically and musically."

Sure, whatever. But hey, you can get a top-notch dance music fix, so we're not complaining. Acclaimed New York house duo Slow To Speak – owners of famous Brooklyn record store Dope Jams – headline, and nu-disco don Krystal Klear is ace as well.

So yeah, it's not really romantic, unless your smooching music of choice is pumping 4/4 beats and bass, in which case, prepare for a groove orgy, whatever that might entail.
