Psy-trance may, broadly speaking, have fallen by the wayside somewhat in recent years, but that shift has turned it into even more of a specialist niche than it was before. Perhaps the most successful psy-trance act of all are Israel's Infected Mushroom, who go beyond the usual swirling synths and heart attack BPMs, making some genuinely bangin' tunes along the way, which perhaps explains their incredible international fanbase. Tonight they make a rare-ish UK appearance, DJing to promote their recent EP, 'Friends on Mushrooms Vol. 2'. Quick warning, if you are planning to take mushrooms beforehand, leave a trail of breadcrumbs leading to whatever secret warehouse-y space you get led to.
