Everyone's claiming their Halloween night to be different from the norm, but this one really looks like it'll do the business and probably scare the bejesus out of you as well. In a nutshell, it's an immersive journey which involves you trekking round loads of scary, industrial places in the shadow of the Olympic Stadium over in Hackney wick. Oh, and you'll be chased by packs of werewolves during the process. There's a whole concept and plot worthy of a few series of 'Lost', involving genetic experiments gone wrong and mutated werewolves and the like, but basically you get to run around and scare yourself silly, with the massive bonus of a big warehouse party at the end of it, if you don't get mauled to death, of course. Providing the tunes at the after-party will be reggae dude DJ Shepdog, live Brazilian funk band The Fontanas, bassy DJ duo Vent and decade-spanning DJ Count Sizzle, who likes a bit of swing, blues and jazz. It's organised by the team who used to run ace west London club Ginglik, so they certainly know a thing or two about proper partying, and there's a loada thought been put into the immersive part of the concept. Werewolves and warehouse raving. Happy Halloween.
