Roxanne Roll's inspired Fleetmac Wood parties, at which you'll hear nothing other than the sweet tones of new edits and remixes of Fleetwood Mac tracks (several of last year's parties were the catalyst for Psychemagik's awesome reworks of 'Dreams' and 'Everywhere') have no doubt grabbed plenty more attention since the timely announcement of The Mac's reunion and world tour. This can only be a good thing, as the parties themselves are blindingly good fun for both punters and DJs alike, and pretty much all the edits are superb, often full of ambient disco and dreamy electronic vibes which give a lovely lush dancefloor touch to FM's classics. As ever, extravagant costumes, Mac-related or otherwise, are very much welcome, so get your best Stevie Nicks bouffant on the go and prepare for unabashed Fleetwood fun at Hackney's excellent New Empowering Church venue.
