Producer Will Saul loves pies. Not in a 'who-ate-all-the' sense, just in terms of getting his fingers into as many musical ones as possible. He's been an A&R guy for Sony, worked in London's iconic vinyl hotspot Phonica Records, started not one but two record labels, been a resident at The End, and found time to release a whole loada his own tunes, which skirt between hypnotic, soulful house and melodic techno. His latest project is CLOSE, which sees Saul moving into deep dance-pop territory and pulling it off very well. Tonight he plays a live A/V set at Peckham's Bussey Building, with some double secret special guests and the ever-ready house/bass/techno fiends that are the Warm residents in tow. Bound to be pretty special.
