The mighty party that is Boomtown Fair warms-up for the main event in summer with a suitably big and outlandish bash at Electric Brixton. Attendees will get a big taste of what a Boomtown festival experience is, which means: energetic music, including electro-swing, gypsy jazz and breaks, from DJs and bands (including Molotov Jukebox, Deekline and Ed Solo, Slamboree Soundsystem, Odjbox and DJ Chris Tofu), plus a cabaret casino, a paddock of dancing unicorns (okay, people dressed as unicorns – the Fabulus of Unicorns, as they're known – who aim to 'pump positive energy and magic into the often-dull London nightlife') and walkabout performers to help 'transform you into the 1920s/1930s character you've always wanted to be.' Prepare for a whole lot of chaotic and colourful immersive fun.
