Did people in the 1920s really have as much fun as people from 2014 think they did? It's doubtful. Still, that won't deter the revellers tonight at another Prohibition-themed party. Guests can enjoy live swing bands, a Charleston dance-off, illicit gambling away from the prying eyes of the law, DJs playing through gramophones, silent cinema and an immersive dining experience. Cocktails are – of course – served in teacups, though you'll have to work for your booze: in true speakeasy style, menus will be hidden inside books, so you'll have to hunt them out. Make an effort and dress for the occasion: think flapper dresses, feathered headbands, tuxedos, top hats and spats.
