This intimate, 60-seat cinema in Acton’s old Passmore Edwards library opened in 2021 with the aim of providing a community-focused sanctuary for west London movie lovers. The transition from old library to brand-new picturehouse was achieved via some canny acquistions –a projector from Scotland, seats from Uckfield Picture House – and some help from the team at Dalston’s Rio Cinema. Expect reasonably priced tickets and a cosy café run by the local Bears Ice Cream Company.
