All good things come to an end, and the Pale Blue Door is a very good thing indeed. The momma of all pop-up dining experiences began life a few years ago as an impromptu enterprise hosted in designer Tony Hornecker's ramshackle-divine rabbit-hole of a residence. Its homemade alcoves, balconies, outré deckings and hidden installations formed an enchantingly ad hoc backdrop for a yummy, boozy home-made three-course dinner, while A Man to Pet served as your hostess with the mostest for a night of pop-up alt-drag hysteria, her hilarious semi-improvised, semi-garbled vamping the perfect complement to the semi-improvised decor. Followed by many, surpassed by none, there's really nothing quite like it. If you can get a table for this final run, do.
