The daddy of London book clubs, which always has a great line-up of spoken word, music and comedy, welcomes lauded US author Amy Tan this week, who's debut, 'The Joy Luck Club', was a New York Times Best Seller. But tonight she'll undoubtedly be reading from her most recent, seventh novel 'The Valley of Amazement', which was released this month. Joining her on stage (not at the same time, of course) will be spoken word artist – and former poet-in-residence at the Royal Shakespeare Company – Malika Booker, reading excerpts from her latest collection, 'Pepper Seed' and former Pippette HowAboutBeth.
