Royal Manuscripts: The Genius of Illumination

The British Library dips into its collections to bring together 150 medieval and Renaissance illuminated manuscripts once collected by England's kings and queens. Spanning 800 years from the ninth to the sixteenth century, the royal manuscripts offer an insight into the fashions, beliefs and politics of the period.
