Focus, people! An American in London, David Mills has forged a distinctive path as a 'sit-down comedian', commenting on contemporary foibles with acid accuracy and occasionally throwing in a song. The style is two parts Dave Allen to one part Rat Pack but the sensibility is more radical: Mills is as waspish as his frequent collaborator Scott Capurro but less flagrantly confrontational, his sharp observations anchored in a jaded yet progressive sensibility and underscored by moments of revealing vulnerability. This new weekly residency is accompanied by Jenny Carr.
