Don't worry London: you're not still drunk and your eyes aren't deceiving you. Take a good look at the fried chicken doughnut burger: it's the sort of heady creation that just goes to show that when it comes to food in this city, anything is possible.
Created by the folks at Bird, it brings together the restaurant chain's signature fried chicken and glazed donuts with lashings of smokey bacon and oozy American cheese - a pretty weird combo which Bird's co-founder Cara Ceppetelli says 'just works'. So basically, it's a hangover cure. But we also know a potentially viral food trend when we see one, so if you're tempted to indulge, it's on the Bird menu from June 27 until August 31.
