Everyone knows that flat-hunting in London is soul-destroying, but things are getting seriously out of hand. In the last few weeks we've seen a creepy 'wipe-clean' flat and a studio flat in Hendon with a toilet in the kitchen cupboard, which we described as 'hell on earth'. But that was before we saw this: a completely windowless two-bed flat in Brixton, which will set you back a cool £1,625pcm. Oh, and bills aren't included. And neither are windows. Did we mention that?
The flat is being advertised on Zoopla and it's described as having a 'bright open-plan kitchen/reception room', which seems pretty unlikely due to the whole no natural light situation. A spokesperson from Foxtons claims that four of the rooms have narrow skylights, which 'emit natural light throughout the day', but let's be honest, a narrow skylight is not really a window, is it?
But hey, maybe you're some kind of creature of the night with an aversion to daylight, in which case, this could be your dream flat. But if you were hoping for even a fraction of natural light in your future home, you better keep on looking.
