Here’s something to make sprouts at Christmas a bit more palatable. A handful of London restaurants are serving up the divisive winter veg with a side of booze to get you through the festive period. Boozy sweet specialists Smith & Sinclair have come up with a list of drinks recipes incorporating the best bits of Christmas dinner. Mmm…

You can test them out at M Restaurant, Ben’s Canteen and Bird where they will be serving the Sprouting Gordon’s Gin Fizz complete with caramelised brussels, a Johnnie Walker Wrapped in a Blanket topped with bacon lardons and a Smirnoff Bloody Mary with all the trimmings (yes, that includes turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce). And for pudding, there’s a Captain Morgan Mince Pie Freakshake. Beats an eggnog any day.

Want more festive booze? Give eggnog a go:

Eggnog?? No, seriously, it tastes delicious.
