You can eat a roast dinner hot dog at Hoxton’s Smokey Tails for one week only

Any sensible foodie loves hotdogs – and they love roast dinners too. This is gospel. Vigorous high fives and kudos to Hoxton’s Smokey Tails, then, for blessing London’s canny diners with the ‘Sunday Roast Dog’.

It’s as it sounds, really: a pork hot dog is stuffed into a Yorkshire pudding bun (in place of your regular bready vessel – a genius move in anyone’s book), then topped with root purée, beery onions and gravy. Gimme? GIMME.

That’s not all: it’s a collab with Chicagoan brewery Goose Island (they of Balham’s Goose Island Ale House fame, which we’re great fans of), so for the £10 price tag you’ll also get a pint of the brewery’s Goose Midway IPA to wash it all down with. Cheers! It’s only available until Saturday June 17 though, so be swift!

Smokey Tails is located at 2-4 Hoxton Square, N1 6NU. The Sunday Roast Dog is available until Sat Jun 17.
