In these tough times, it’s good to remember that the wild diversity of London and Londoners brings us far more good than harm. For the next in our regular series of features on the city’s different nationalities, we’re looking to Bangladesh. A huge number of Londoners have links to this densely populated slice of the Indian subcontinent, and they’ve left their mark on London’s history, streetscape, culture and food.
What we want to know is this: what’s your favourite Bangladeshi place in London? Whether it’s a market or shop that’s a treasure trove of hard-to-find ingredients, a restaurant serving desi specialities, a cultural institution or a London landmark, post your tips in the comments box below. We’ll use the best in Time Out London magazine.
Want more from the subcontinent? Here’s the best of Pakistani London.
