Star Wars actor John Boyega ditched the Millennium Falcon in favour of a slightly less glamorous Southeastern train this weekend. The Peckham-born star joined his sister in the control room on a Southeastern train from London Victoria to Orpington, providing his own brand of 'informative announcements' for commuters.
Instead of the regular announcements, Boyega kept passengers entertained with stories about each stop - including the fact that his uncle refers to Penge East at 'Peng-ey East'. Oh, and he started singing at one point. TfL, take note - we'd totally be on board with Boyega doing the tube announcements from now on.
