Watch a dance tribute to Prince break out on the tube

After the news broke that music legend Prince had died aged 57 last week, fans began paying tribute, with a slew of London clubs ditching their usual schedule in favour of nights in honour to the Purple One. But one superfan wasn't content with throwing shapes alongside his fellow fans, and instead filmed himself on the Circle line dancing to 'I Wanna Be Your Lover'.

Alongside the clip he uploaded to YouTube, VibeyJax explains: 'My performance was to celebrate the life and amazing art of Prince. What a gift he was!'

It sees him step onto the tube, find some space, fumble around with a suitcase and then begin to throw some ungainly moves to the hit. He even pole dances and pulls some fellow passengers up to dance.

Is it what Prince would have wanted? Who knows. The guy doesn't exactly have the late legend's dance prowess, but we suppose anything that puts a smile on the faces of miserable Londoners has to be applauded.
