As Missy Elliot says: 'If you a fly gal, get your nails done'. And soon you'll be able to do just that in the coolest space in London, as WAH Nails is opening a flagship salon in the heart of Soho.

If you've inhaled too many nail polish fumes and aren't sure who WAH are, they're the ones that kicked off the nail art craze here a few years ago and went on to open a nail bar at the Oxford Circus Topshop and later launch their own product line.

Having closed the Topshop nail bar in 2015 to focus on a 'friends and family only' salon in Dalston, WAH are finally opening a permanent flagship in Soho next month.

The two-floor salon will offer the usual manicures in the basement but the first floor will be a 'play and discover' area with immersive virtual-reality experiences, nail-printing and a product testing zone.

According to WAH, the new space will mix fashion and beauty with culture, in an environment that feels more like a club than a salon – that's where the downstairs cocktail bar comes in.

You won't have to wait long either, as the salon is scheduled to open on November 18 – so you can stop doing those DIY designs at home that turn out more Jackson Pollock than 'on-point'.

WAH Nails Soho will open at 4 Peter Street, W1F 0DN on November 18.
