Waggle a cucumber at these London bars for a free G&T today

Still not over the World Gin Day indulgence? Well, get over it, pal. Because this national holiday is the big one. The big green one. Guys, today is WORLD CUCUMBER DAY.

There are lots of ways to celebrate your favourite green fruit (right?), but what better than planning a big night out on the cucumber lash?  The perfect accompaniment to cucumber, Hendrick's Gin, is giving away G&Ts at select London bars. All you have to do is waggle a cucumber at your bartender and exchange your fruit for a Hendrick’s and tonic (cucumber garnish compulsory).

The boozy promotion takes place during ‘Cucumber Hour’ today, otherwise known as 5-8pm. And we double-checked; you definitely can’t raid your veggie patch for unlimited gin. It’s one G&T per person (you scamp).

Participating bars include The Ship in Wandsworth, Flask in Hampstead, all Balls Brothers venues and The Alchemist in The City. But check the Hendrick’s website to find even more thirst-quenching options around London on this great day.
