Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's a totally bonkers base jumper who decided to launch himself off the top of The Shard this weekend. The anonymous jumper was spotted floating down from the 306 metre high skyscraper on Saturday morning at about 10am. Obviously, base jumping off London's skyscrapers is totally illegal, but the guy had scooped up his parachute and fled the scene by the time the police arrived at around 10.20am. And you thought dragging your hungover self out of bed on Saturday morning to make a cup of tea was a strenuous way to start your day.
