With renting conditions one of the hottest topics of the mayoral election, Londoners have been taking to the internet to express their rage. Campaign group Generation Rent set up the #ventyourrent hashtag and Tumblr to give exasperated tenants the opportunity to have their say on the exorbitant rents, huge fees and often terrible living conditions many renters face. Issues range from lack of heating to sharing a flat with cockroaches and mice. Some people even have to live in Clapham: London’s cruelty truly knows no bounds (just kidding, Infernos4lyfe!). Get involved in #ventyourrent if you need to get some of your rental woes off your chest.

Check out the ventyourrent Tumblr for more renting rants.

In other renting news, someone is renting out a room in an £8 million London penthouse flat for free.
