There's usually little to be excited about on Mondays – as well as dealing with the remnants of your weekend hangover, you also have to revisit that pile of 'urgent' work you abandoned in favour of the pub on Friday. But it's not all doom and gloom, because for the next three Mondays MasterCard is offering its customers free travel on all London transport networks using Apple Pay, so at least you won't have to pay for the privilege of being squashed up against someone's sweaty back on the Central line. All you need to do is touch in and out as usual and Mastercard will refund up to £27.90 in daily fares on November 30, December 7 and December 14. The offer is valid on the tube, buses, tram, DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London.
