Hands up who’s Instagrammed London's cherry trees in full bloom? Yeah, us too. But with good reason – those pink beauties will have disappeared by the end of May. Luckily, Shochu Lounge at the Fitzrovia branch of Roka and Sake no Hana in St. James's have created immersive indoor cherry blossom installations in each of their subterranean bars.

This isn’t just about observing the transient beauty of Sakura season. The cherry on top is that there are also Japanese small plates and cherry-based cocktails to enjoy under the canopies. Roka is offering concoctions made from Suntory Whisky like the matcha-infused Match a Rack and a Happo Harmony, the bar's take on a Highball. Or at Sake no Hana, order from the limited edition Sakura menu and a haiku printed on a paper petal will be yours for the keeping. Don’t be sheepish – we’ll be Instagramming it too.

Sake no Hana is at 23 St James's St, SW1A 1HA and Roka is at 37 Charlotte Street, W1T 1RR.
