Travel this weekend: TfL is closing the entire Circle line and partly closing four other lines

It's nearly the weekend, hooray! But if you're planning on getting the tube at all, take note: TfL has decided to try and ruin our 48 hours of freedom with engineering works on five lines, including shutting down the Circle line completely. But it's fine, we never liked it anyway. Here's what you need to know.

Circle line

Saturday and Sunday: No service on the entire line.

District line

Saturday and Sunday: No service between Tower Hill and Barking.

Hammersmith & City line

Saturday and Sunday: No service between King's Cross St Pancras and Barking.

Metropolitan line

Saturday and Sunday: No service between King's Cross St Pancras and Aldgate.

Overground

Saturday: No service between Highbury & Islington and Shadwell, or between Surrey Quays and New Cross.

Sunday: No service between Highbury & Islington and Shadwell, or between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction.

Saturday and Sunday: No service between Gospel Oak and Barking.
