It's almost Friday. Phew! And it's not just any old Friday, as not only does this one look set to have some bloomin' sunshine but it's also Red Bull’s National 4pm Finish Day, which means that workplaces all over the country are gearing up to smash through their workload during the day in order to finish early.

If your boss will let you escape early, we've got three great ideas below for things to do while everyone else is still slaving at work. Plus if you do manage to get out at 4pm, post a photo of you enjoying your weekend jumpstart between 4pm and 5pm and tag it with @RedBullUK and #4pmfinish (on Twitter and Instagram) and you could get a month’s worth of chilled Red Bull for the whole office. Find out more at redbull.co.uk/4pmfinish.

Here are some damn fine events to do at 4pm:

Claim a deckchair at Camden Beach

The roof of Camden Roundhouse will once again become a giant sandpit on July 29, with 150 tonnes of sand, plenty of bars, beach games and a load of beach chairs to make the most of the sun. Unsurprisingly, this annual summer opening is really popular and the first day is guaranteed to be heaving. Lucky for you, getting there before the rest of town has clocked off will help you claim the best spot on the opening day and you can be a few cocktails down by the time everyone else arrives.

Catch the Yayoi Kusama exhibition without the queues

The colourful pumpkins that have been taking Instagram by storm are part of the current exhibition at Old Street art gallery Victoria Miro, which closes on July 30. The show has been so crazy popular that there are huge queues around the block at weekends. Your only hope of seeing it without actually setting up camp overnight is to sneak in while others are still working. Last entry on Fridays is 5.30pm, so your 4pm finish will work perfectly.

Find some balance at Yin Yang yoga

Head to much-loved Peckham arts venue the Bussey Building for 5pm to catch this special class from Yogarise that offers a combination of exercise and meditation to soothe your body and mind. Strong vinyasa flow practice will get your muscles working and seated postures will relax your soul, leaving you refreshed and ready for the weekend by the time you’d normally be leaving the office.

Whatever you get up to, remember to take a pic of you out and about between 4pm and 5pm and tag it with @RedBullUK and #4pmfinish (on Twitter and Instagram) to get the month’s worth of Red Bull!
